Cold, rainy, thunderstorming. I thought about going in because I was on a small field surrounded by tall metal poles and the current could easily jump if one of them were struck by lightning, but fuck it.

The fields were full all day, so I used my 30-minute route on the grass next to the sidewalks.

Thursday, February 23, 2012 (30 minutes)

Now that sports are in full session, it's more competitive to use the athletic fields. I had to wait for the cover of darkness before sneaking onto the baseball field for 30 minutes.


Also I ate some salad today. Well, I bought some salad at least. Then I poured cheese on it, and ate all the cheese. I got some of the green stuff in my mouth too, but by the time I was done there appeared to be just as much salad as there was at the beginning.

It was warm today. If it stays this warm I should be able to run barefoot again soon.


I have been having some trouble with a pain in my right ankle, but it didn't bother me for this 30-minutes run.

I've had intermittent twitching and tightening in my back since my last update, but not in the last few days. 30 minutes today on the practice field felt good.
